Greetings Fellow Skalleagues!
Our February meeting at the Palm Beach Gardens Marriott was well attended with 23 members and guests attending. The opening toast was
presented by Art Stark and the closing toast by Wayne Lampert.
We were extremely happy to have 7 guests in attendance including:

Christine Noel – Grenada Tourist Board, potential new member

Wayne Lampert recently attended the SIUSA Board meeting
in San Jose, CA. We are very happy that Carlos Banks is officially a candidate for SIUSA Auditor.
PLEASE NOTE: Our March meeting is our annual “Business Meeting”.
We will be discussing several important issues & voting on a dues increase to bring our annual dues to $150.00 for 2011.
This new level assumes that the combined increases from SI & SIUSA do not exceed $15.00

Your board of directors is excited to be working on several fun events for the Summer and Fall. Paul Alterman and his committee are
reviewing charitable options for our Fall fund-raiser. Should you have any suggestions, please let Paul know prior to the March meeting.

YOUR Board of Directors’ continues to seek to make SKAL / Ft. Lauderdale & Palm Beaches an organization where each member is an integral
part of our success! We encourage you to share your ideas for upcoming activities which will help us to have more camaraderie and
interaction. … PLEASE, feel free to share with us any suggestions which you may have for activities / fundraisers / guest speakers!
