President’s Letter
February 17, 2015
Thank you to all of you who attended our meeting at the Delray Sands Resort in Highland Beach.
We had 17 members present along with 7 guests. They have made incredible changes to this hotel
since we were there which made it even more enjoyable. It was a beautiful evening and the view of
the ocean made it even better! You might want to check it out!
The attending members elected the following 2015 – 2016 slate of Officers & Directors:

Please join us at the Renaissance Hotel in Boca Raton for the April 21st Installation dinner!
Our Chapter has a goal! If we get 3 new members by the end of March, we will qualify for the “Skal Club of the Year”.
If you know of someone who is sitting on the fence about joining bring them to our meeting this month at the Marriott in
downtown West Palm Beach and we will help you recruit them! Also at the March dinner we will have a Travel & Tourism Industry

Carlos and I had the pleasure of welcoming and pinning our returning member, Cecilia Hudnet.
She is the new Director of Sales of the Chesterfield Hotel on Palm Beach. Welcome back Cecilia!
It was decided at the February Board Meeting to each year recognize the previous year’s “Venue of the Year” at
our April meeting. The membership will vote on their favorite Venue! at the March dinner meeting. The list of 2014 venues is
attached to this email. If you are not able to attend the March meeting, please return your vote to either Dick or myself by March 16th.
