President’s Letter

What an exciting night in Fort Lauderdale aboard Windridge Yachts for our first Skal Dinner Cruise! Thanks again to Erica Gregory for hosting us. It was a great turnout with 66 members and guests in attendance. The evening started off with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the top deck and then dinner as we cruised along the Intracoastal.

We started the evening with a moment of silence for the victims of the Paris attacks.

After returning from the Skal International World Congress, Carlos Banks presented our club with a certificate honoring our club for achieving a 12% increase in membership last year and the award for being selected as the 3rd best Skal International Club of the Year 2014/2015 worldwide! We can all be proud of our accomplishments in achieving these awards!

Dick Stafford announced our upcoming dinner in December. It’s hard to believe we are almost at the end of 2015!

December 16th (Wednesday) – Benvenuto’s – Boynton Beach (Annual Holiday Party with our Silent and Live Auction)

We are still looking for auction items for the Holiday Party from your company, favorite restaurant or gift baskets! Please let Dick know if you have an item so we can make sure we have it in time for the party. This has been such a fun evening in the past with Benvenuto’s great service, delicious food along with music and a chance to bid on our auction items. You aren’t going to want to miss it!
