President’s Letter
October, 2018
Fellow Skålleagues!
We held our October dinner meeting at the Hilton Palm Beach Airport Hotel. As always the hotel staff did a great job
for us during the reception hour and dinner. The service and food were excellent. We missed having our President Lisa
Hamilton with us. Lisa was out of the country on business. Like many of our members travel schedules and meeting
requirements are demanding and complicated.
During dinner we talked about our upcoming venues and especially the Wednesday December 12th Annual Holiday
Party which as always will be a great event with live music, dancing and our charity auction. We need our members
to contribute items for the auction and an email will go out in the next few weeks requesting your contributions
to help raise money for our charities and the club. Make sure you put the date on your calendar and bring guests to this fun party.
The board announced the proposed slate of Officers and Board members for 2019. The members will vote on the
2019 Officers and Board members at the November dinner meeting.
